THE PROGRAM JOURNEY

Our 6-8 week curriculum is an interactive journey from broad industry introduction to focused, real-world experience. Select a week below to see the specific focus, activities, and outcomes.

Week 1: Intro & Departments

Activities:

Industry overview, behind-the-scenes clips, career panel.

Outcome:

Students identify top 3 departments of interest.

 

Week 2-5: Departmental Deep Dives

Activities:

Guest speakers, hands-on workshops, mini-projects (e.g., scriptwriting).

Outcome:

Students develop basic skills and understanding.

 

Week 6: Career Shadowing Prep

Activities:

Resume building, professional etiquette training, expectation setting.

Outcome:

Students are matched with mentors or opportunities.

 

Week 7: Job Shadowing Week

Activities:

Half- or full-day shadowing at a studio, set, or media company.

Outcome:

Real-life exposure to the work environment.

 

Week 8: Reflection & Presentation

Activities:

Sharing of lessons learned, future career goals, final project.

Outcome:

Capstone presentation or creative portfolio.
